These lettuce wraps are easy to make and are filled with chicken tenders cooked in taco seasoning, bell peppers, zucchini, mung bean sprouts and chili peppers served in lettuce leaves. They are flavorful and filling for the family to enjoy!
Romaine lettuce (washed and dried)
1 pound cubed chicken tenders
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 zucchini cubed
1 orange bell pepper cut into cubes
2 cups mung bean sprouts
1-2 chili pepper chopped (Optional)
2 teaspoons of Taco seasoning
Let's make the chicken!
In a large pan heat oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and taco seasoning.
Cook the chicken until it's browned, stirring occasionally for about 8-10 minutes.
Add zucchini, bell pepper, mung bean sprouts, chili and cook for 4-5 minutes or until soft.
Spoon the chicken and veggie mix into lettuce leaves and serve.
