Wild caught Alaskan Salmon curry is one of the easiest to prepare at home with simple ingredients loaded with Omega -3 that your family can enjoy for lunch or dinner.
1-14.75 oz can of Alaskan Salmon
3 tbsp olive oil
2 red tomatoes chopped
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp garam masala
1/4 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp mustard seed
1/4 tsp minced ginger
1/4 tsp minced garlic
1/3 cup onion chopped
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
2 cups of water
1 sprig of rosemary (optional)
Salt to taste
Put olive oil in a pan on medium heat. Add onion, ginger, garlic and cook until brown.
Add mustard seed, cumin, turmeric and garam masala. Stir and cook for one minute.
Add tomatoes to the mix and let it cook for five minutes, stir the mix occasionally.
Open the canned salmon and drain all the water and pour it into the mix.
Add two cups of water and allow it to boil.
Add cilantro and rosemary (optional) and simmer for five minutes covered.
Serve warm with rice or bread (makes 2 servings).
